We are a locally owned and operated Abbotsford moving company. We do mainly local household moves, with the occasional long distance and commercial move mixed in. Our crews are made up of clean cut, reliable men.
In 2017, we were honored to receive the Abbotsford Business Excellence Award for consumer services excellence! This was a huge honor for us, and we're grateful for it. We are also rated as 1 of the top 3 local movers in Abbotsford and Chilliwack, and have been for 2016-2019! Curtis Ewert Purchased the company in the beginning of 2019.

Let's be honest, what comes to your mind when you think of a moving company, or the guys doing the work? Probably it's not the most flattering image and most likely they are guys you wouldn't be comfortable inviting over for dinner.
We are changing that image by providing an experience that is what you really want. We also share a portion of our profits with a charitable organization that we are excited to partner with, Food for the Hungry. They do great development work around the world and we are part of a great project happening in Haiti. Each month, a portion of our profits goes to helping this community become self sufficient.
Just like our philosophy of moving, we take pride in being open and honest, and giving our clients a clear picture of the information ahead of time. For that reason, we publish our prices for mini storage. We are happy to serve you with your storage needs, although if you need regular access to your belongings, it would be more convenient for you to rent from other mini storage providers. We are happy to give you options for that if you call or email. Our storage is done with wooden vaults that may need to be moved with a forklift to get access to, so it's a great option for those looking to store their items and not think about them again until they are ready to be moved.
Like our moving services, 10% of the profits of the storage goes to the non-profit organization called Food for the Hungry. We are proud to partner with them as we specifically work with a community in HAITI, seeking to help them become financially self-sufficient. We have seen first hand the great work that is being done in Haiti, and we are so thankful for your supporting us as we all work towards making things better in this world for those who could use a helping hand. Fully Equipped Moving Company
Low Budget Moving has clean, fully-equipped trucks, friendly staff, and what we believe are the best movers. We can be trusted to handle your move quickly, efficiently, safely, and of course economically.
Low Budget Moving uses equipment that is meticulously maintained and operated by highly skilled professionals. Our fully stocked equipment are specifically used to reduce the chance of goods being damaged in transit.
The best thing we offer is our staff, they are all great movers who care about doing a fantastic job for you.
Here is our truck sizes and pricing. All of our services have a 2 hour minimum. Travel time will also be added to the final bill.
In cases where there is more than 300 km's of total driving, a fuel surcharge may be added. Any other move under that distance will have no surcharge. In all cases any fuel surcharge or travel time will be brought to your attention before the move so there are no surprises with your bill once the move is complete.
Payment options we can accept are: Cash, Cheque or E-Transfer. We do not accept credit cards because of the high fees, as well as a significant case of fraud that was done to us. The benefit to you is that we are able to pass those savings on to you.
We have 4 trucks, so we have the ability to send multiple trucks to the same job site and speed up the moving process.
When choosing any professional moving company you will receive 0.60 cents per pound per unit of basic coverage included in the listed price. This is the law. If you find this is unsatisfactory for your needs and require additional coverage, you can look at your home owners insurance or you request additional protection from Low Budget Moving. We require one week in advance from your move so as we can figure out the appropriate solution for you.
